Add new temp mail domain name
Shared domains sometimes get refused by the site you are registering on. A domain of your own does not — and pointing it here takes one DNS record. There are two ways to do it: yourself, or by sending us the details.
Option 1 — do it yourself
- Register a domain name at any accredited registrar (ICANN-Accredited Registrars list), or use one you already own.
- Open the DNS settings of the domain and add one MX record:

- Remove other MX records for the same host, so that all mail comes here.
- Wait for DNS to update. It usually takes from a few minutes to a day.
- Open your domain here: https://tempm.com/your-domain.com, or type any name with your domain into the address field on the home page.
Option 2 — we set it up
- Register a domain name (ICANN-Accredited Registrars list).
- Email us with the subject "New Domain" via Feedback, and include:

cabinet.registrar.com); - your login there (example:

Security tip: if your registrar lets you create a separate user with access to DNS only, send us those details instead of your main login. Either way, change the password once we confirm that the domain works.
Why your own domain is worth it
Popular temp mail domains end up on block lists, and some sites refuse them at sign-up. A domain of your own is not on those lists, stays yours for as long as you renew it, and turns every name on it into an inbox: shop@, test1@, newsletter@, all without creating anything in advance. Keep in mind that these inboxes are public, like every inbox on this site.
